Why I created Art Wanderer Lab
Art Wanderer Lab was born out of my interest in neuroaesthetics, a field investigating the perception of art and its effects on the brain, and mindfulness meditation, whose positive effects on health and well-being are already confirmed by hundreds of scientific studies.
I’ve been practicing mindfulness for several years, including meditation with art, which is gaining more enthusiasts in Europe and the United States.
I’m convinced that mindfulness practice will soon become part of everyone’s daily mental hygiene and that mindful interaction with art is one of the best ways to bring mindfulness into your life.
In the Art Wanderer Lab, I show how to do it by connecting relaxation and art history learning.
Additionally, the project aims to stimulate reflection and public discussion about the impact of art on both the individual and social levels.
